Our fundraising journey

Our first SJB Fundraiser was a huge success! Canton Rugby Club were our generous hosts and a fine time was had by all.  A brain-boggling quiz, a delicious curry and wonderful entertainment all made for a brilliant night and we all enjoyed the first ever public performance of our title song from the show!

We followed this with a sunny seaside fundraiser in beautiful Tenby, which was jam-packed with supporters who enjoyed an entertaining quiz and wonderful live music.  Delicious John Barrowman cupcakes baked by our very own leading man Simon Bulley were very well received indeed! A huge thanks to all at Canton Rugby Club and at Caffe Vista in Tenby for supporting us and for helping each night go with a bang!

Fans of Stalking John Barrowman gathered on 1st August in Porter’s Bar to hear a taster of our show! The bar was packed full of musical theatre fanatics and Barrowfans as well as friends and family of the cast and creative team.

Audiences experienced a preview of the title song complete with a flash mob performance (click here to see) as well as a medley of 5 different songs they can expect to see on opening night! The cast were on top form – wowing audiences after only 2 rehearsals together – a true teaser of what we can expect to see after two weeks of intensive rehearsals.

Other entertainment included performances from Sing & Inspire’s SUPERCHOIR who impressed the crowd with their high energy and wonderful harmonies. There was a male audition and lots of prizes to be won. The fundraiser generated lots of money to help us put this show on the stage. Thank you so much to everyone who came, engaged with us, shared our passion and gave so generously. This show is possible because of YOU!
